Introduction
This course aims to provide an updating service for the busy general practitioner. It focuses on developments in accounting standards and their practical implications for clients.
The course in detail
- Recent and forthcoming developments in UK accounting standards – to include FRSs, UITF abstracts and related exposure drafts
- The latest developments on convergence with IFRS and the status of the IFRS for SMEs
- Company law update on matters relevant to the accountant
- Accounting issues arising out of the work of the Review Panel and the Professional Oversight Board
- Accounting issues covered by recent ICAEW technical releases
- Any other accounting related developments
